  • Today our 7th and 8th grade students had the incredible opportunity to hear from  special guest Niv Ashkenazy about the Violins of Hope collection and how they serve as powerful reminders of an unimaginable time in history. He captivated the audience with insightful and inspiring stories of the violins’ history, restoration, and meaningful place in Holocaust history, as well as by playing beautiful and moving music.  We thank Katherine Yang and Jennifer Niedringhaus from the Philharmonic Society of Orange County for coordinating this student engagement opportunity.  We were also thrilled to welcome the 8th grade from St. John the Baptist school for this learning experience. #morethanschool #ocatholicschools #catholicedoc #catholicedoc
